With your support, our impact this year includes:
- Awarding 60% more tuition assistance and need-based scholarship support
- Implementing an Anti-Racism Policy and Action Plan, outlining our steps to becoming an anti-racist organization
- Presenting high-quality professional performances and offering our pay-what-you-can ticketing model to ensure our performances are free for all
- Expanding facilities and programs at the Charlestown Working Theater as part of our focus on better serving our neighborhoods’ creative needs
- Delivering in-school and after-school programming - including free classes - to students at our 7 Boston Public and private school partners across the city
- Presenting a professional Artist Series, hiring and elevating the work of diverse musicians through a public NEMPAC-led Request for Proposals
- Participating in the statewide Card to Culture program, to help eliminate barriers to participation in the arts and support free and discounted programs to over 650 students this year
- Becoming an authorized organization of the nationwide Art Pharmacy, which prescribes the arts to those in need
