As a nonprofit, we rely heavily upon the support of community members like you. With your Holiday Campaign donation, you make it possible for us to keep programming equitable for all. All donations made by December 31, 2024 will be matched by our board up to $16,800!
With your support, our impact this year includes:
- Awarding 60% more tuition assistance and need-based scholarship support
- Introducing an Anti-Racism Policy and Action Plan, outlining our steps to becoming an anti-racist organization
- Presenting high-quality professional performances and implementing a new pay-what-you-can ticketing model ensuring our performances are free for all
- Expanding facilities and programs at the Charlestown Working Theater as part of our focus on better serving our neighborhoods’ creative needs
- Delivering free musical theatre classes to 35 youth at our newest Boston Public Schools partner, the Hurley School in the South End
- Creating a professional Artist Series, hiring and elevating the work of 10 diverse musicians across the city through a public NEMPAC-led Request for Proposal
- Joining the statewide Card to Culture program to help eliminate barriers to participation in the arts and support free and discounted programs to over 650 students this year
- Becoming an authorized organization of nationwide Art Pharmacy, which prescribes the arts to those in need
